Squeeze Casting Processes:
Squeeze Casting, is called Load Pressure Casting as well, combines the processes and advantages of Gravity Casting and Forging. Squeeze Casting uses metal permanent molds, and it has a material tank. The pouring process uses a cylinder, at the bottom of material tank, pushes material into molds. This pouring process is similar as Gravity Casting, but Gravity Casting use gravity instead of a cylinder. After material goes into mold, the cylinder of material tank continue loading pressure, about 300 tons, until the end of casting cycle. When the material in the molds start to cool down, the material shrink, the cylinder of material tank continue loading pressure to anti-shrink and makes casting solider, this process is similar as Forging. The casting quality of Squeeze Casting is close to Forging.
